Berkeley Foundation Dragonboat Race 2016

We were pleased to be invited to partake in the annual Berkeley Foundation Dragonboat race this year.

A great day was had by all. we couldnt of asked for a better day, the weather was fantastic.

29 teams competed. OCL placed 10th in the 1st heat, 6th in the 2nd heat and 11th in the 3rd heat. We progressed to Semi Finals where we put up a 40.6 second time for the 140m race. The competition in our heat was very strong, we placed 4th in our semi only missing out of making the final by 8 tenths of a second.

Most importantly a large amount of money was raised for the Providence Row and Toyhouse Charities which we are sure will be greatly recieved and put to good use.
