Defibrillator – Head office

The H&S Team here at OCL are very pleased to announce we now have a Fully Automated Defibrillator on hand at our head office.

Abnormal heart rhythms, or arrhythmias, are the single most common cause of sudden cardiac arrest. They can happen anywhere – at work, at play, on the road or on the football field​ but the good news is a Defibrillator has the ability to stop this in its tracks.

Defibrillation is the only method for reverting lethal cardiac arrest. If applied within the first minute defibrillation has a 70% survival rate and your probability of success decreases 10% with every minute lost. Act fast!

We are in the process of registering this Life saving device with the local ambulance service to ensure anyone nearby in need will know where to find it should it be needed in an emergency.
