We believe that the safety and wellbeing of our operatives and employees is of paramount importance. There is nothing better for us as a business knowing that everyone in our care goes home each day safe and without harm.
We have started a new initiative to reward those who consistently maintain our standards of Health and Safety whilst going about their day to day work tasks.
One of our operatives, Adrian Pasniciuc was nominated by Alan Howley, our Project Manager at 250 City Road, a project for Berkeley Homes for his continual good working practices and attitude towards working safely. Alan told us that “Adrian is a positive guy, always ensures he’s working safely, wearing the correct task specific PPE and is keen to provide feedback from an operatives perspective, which we know is invaluable”
We have also welcomed a similar scheme being operated by one of our key supply chain members, Encon Insulations Limited. Encon also believe that individuals should be rewarded for working safely. When Jonathon Greenwood of Encon Insulations heard about the good attitude of Adrian he was happy to put him forward as a contender for the Encon safe worker as part of their H&S rewards scheme.
We are proud to announce that Adrian’s efforts have been recognised and that he is now the owner of a Makita Cordless Drill which was donated by Encon and awarded to him by Jonathon on site last week,.
Health and Safety is a team effort, so as much as this is a great personal achievement for Adrian, it should also be noted that this is a result of positive management from both the OCL Construction Team and Berkeley Homes 250 City Road Project Team.
A Congratulations to Adrian and all the team, Keep up the good work and Stay Safe!back to posts
