We are delighted to announce that OCL has been named a finalist at the prestigious Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Gala Awards 2025, standing proudly alongside some of the biggest names in the construction industry, including Morgan Sindall Construction, L&Q, Bovis Homes and Arada.

Being shortlisted in such a competitive field is a significant achievement for a family-run contractor specialising in facades, cladding/recladding and drylining. It reflects our long standing commitment not only to high quality construction, but to creating lasting positive impact within the communities we work in.

Recognition for Community Engagement and Social Impact

OCL has been shortlisted for the Community Engagement Award, acknowledging our dedication to delivering meaningful, hands-on support through local initiatives and partnerships. This recognition is a testament to the values that guide our work — care, integrity and a genuine desire to make construction a force for good.

We are also incredibly proud that our Marketing and Social Value Lead has been named a finalist in two highly respected categories:

  • Social Value Leader Award
  • Contribution in Construction Award

These nominations celebrate her commitment to advancing social value across the sector, particularly through our flagship programme #GirlsCanBuild, which empowers young women to explore rewarding careers in construction.

A Proud Moment for a Family-Run SME

As a small but ambitious contractor, we are honoured to be recognised alongside national industry leaders. At OCL, we believe that size is never a barrier to impact, our team continues to drive real change, shaping more inclusive, supportive and socially responsible futures across the built environment.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the CCS judging panel and congratulate all fellow finalists. We are extremely proud of our team for the passion and dedication that brought us here.
