Team OCL take on Hike, Bike and Kayak for Charity

This September, 10 of the OCL team will be swapping site and the office for cycles, hiking boots, high ropes and kayaks as the team take on the Shine Bright Challenge in support of our brilliant corporate charity partner, Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.

The challenge will put the team through their paces across four demanding activities:

• 12-mile cycle
• 10-mile trek up and down Mount Snowdon
• High ropes course
• 2.5-mile kayak the glacial lake of Llyn Padarn

Our initial £5,300 fundraising target has been smashed!!! We are now approximately £628 shy of hitting a whopping £10,000!!  Meet the mighty team taking on this epic challenge including our CEO Tony Harris.

Supporting an incredible cause

Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund provides practical, financial and emotional support to children diagnosed with cancer and their families during an incredibly difficult time.

As OCL’s corporate charity partner, supporting Lennox has become an important part of our wider commitment to giving back and creating a positive impact beyond the projects we deliver, we also fell in love with the charity and their mission – as soon as we met them.

The Shine Bright Challenge is our latest opportunity to bring Team OCL together, push ourselves outside our comfort zones and, most importantly, raise as much money as possible for a cause that means a great deal to us.

Our supply chain is getting behind us

We’ve already received fantastic support from our supply chain partners, helping us move closer to our fundraising target before the challenge has even begun.
