PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Royal Eden Dock development in Newham, London will deliver 854 new homes, comprising a mix of studios to three-bedroom apartments including 5000SQM of beautiful crafted outdoor space. Of these homes, 35% will be designated as affordable housing, contributing to the area’s wider regeneration and housing strategy.

SCOPE

OCL Facades Limited were appointed as a specialist subcontractor to deliver the facade package across Phase 2A & 2B, Cores, 1 – 5.

Our package included the design, supply and installation of Breather Membrane, Mineral Wool Insulation, Cavity Barriers, Aluminium Secret Fix Cladding, Bespoke Aluminium Vertical Feature Fins, Spandrel Panels, Engineered Stone Cladding, Aluminium PPC Soffit Panels and associated Aluminium Copings & Flashing.

The project has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), a globally renowned architectural practice celebrated for landmark developments including 35 Hudson Yards in New York, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the China World Trade Centre in Beijing.
